Our private networking club was originally formed under the auspices of the C3 Club back in 2007 by the Managing Director of Skillweb Ltd, Paul Ridden.
Skillweb is a privately owned UK based business, that provides technology solutions designed to help organisations manage their mobile workforces and track the movement of their goods. The company has been operating for over 10 years managing deployments across the UK and Europe and is responsible for in excess of over 10 million transactions each month.
This Club has now been relaunched for 2012 as the Logistics Network, which more accurately describes who and what we are. |
Our Purpose
The newly launched Logistics Network has been created for the CEO’s, MD’s and Directors and senior managers of our customer base as well those who are courier, carrier, parcel, mail, transport, logistics or distribution operators.
Our Vision
To bring together like-minded executives, in order to discuss current business challenges and industry developments in a private environment.
Membership is by personal invitation or introduction only and is complementary and with no obligation, and often members are associated with the | many facets of the transport and logistics industry at a senior management level.

Our Club meets up to four times a year for up to half a day, in different parts of the country, so that members can easily access a meeting that is closest to them, although attending all the meetings is welcomed. There is ample opportunity to network over lunch, which is held in | gastro-pubs near these various locations, as recommended by the Michelin Guide.
Typically, there are two speakers, covering a “hot” business topic and a guest speaker, in order to facilitate comments and discussions during the session. Lunch will be a fixed menu; a charge will be levied for this, and members can attend as many or as few meetings as desired. After the meeting, the material covered is distributed with a summary of the event, to all members. |
